The Texas Honor Ride

Our Mission:
 
"To honor, directly help and improve the quality of life

of wounded warriors and their families who are recovering at 

the Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) in San Antonio, Texas."
  

Over the past four years The Texas Honor Ride, a 501(c)3 charity, has raised close to $400,000 for our Wounded Warriors at Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) in San Antonio.  All funds raised go to the Warrior and Family Support Center at BAMC where the staff and counselors administer the funds. (THR staff is 100% volunteer!)

All donations are tax deductible.

In addition to our THR merchandise, when invited, we attend other rallies, club meetings and events, like the Texas Open Chili Championship, the Oldest Town in Texas Rally, the Lone Star Rally and this year, Iron Cuffs Rally in LaGrange, TX.

Despite the rain we raised over $5,400!

 

Saturday September 25, 2010 - the September Texas Honor Ride Fundraiser and Ride will again be hosted by the West Conroe Baptist Church. Live and Silent auctions, Military Helicopters, great food and entertainment. We're hoping this year (our 5th Anniversary) will be the biggest and best ever.

Saturday, November 13, 2010 - The Texas Honor Ride from Houston to BAMC!

Last year almost 600 motorcycles rode from Houston to BAMC to say 'thank you' to the men and women of the Warrior Transition Battalion and present the final check to the Warrior and Family Support Center. 

We leave from the Addicks Park and Ride (West Bound Exit #751) and ride I-10 to San Antonio. The First Group (we release approximately 100 motorcycles at a time) departs at 7:15am Sharp.  We make a Gas Stop (120 Miles out) at Buc-ee's in Luling and ride to re-stage at the I-10 Exit #619 Rest Area. Others riders (and AUTOS!) from Austin, San Antonio and surrounding communities... even folks from DALLAS... have joined the ride at the Rest Area. Around 10:30, we'll head to Ft. Sam from #619 for Food, Music, and fellowship with our heroes.

 

What's Next? The Texas Honor Ride will have a booth at he Oldest Town in Texas Rally.
